Eligibility
Applicants must:
    • Reside in Ohio or attend a school located in Ohio
    • Be enrolled (or accepted) in a water-industry–related program
    • 
Submit a complete application with all required documents by the deadline

Required Documents
You will not be able to submit your application without uploading all three:
    1. Personal Statement
        • Describe your career goals and how your field supports Ohio’s drinking water sector.
        • Include how you plan to engage with the water community.
    2. Letter of Recommendation
        • From an instructor, professor, program director, or employer/supervisor.
   3. Transcript
        • Current scholastic transcript (unofficial accepted).

Application Process
    1. Prepare your documents.
    2. Complete the online form in one sitting (no save-and-return option).
    3. Upload all required documents and submit.
    4. Receive an automatic confirmation email.

Selection Criteria
Applications are reviewed by the OAWWA Scholarship Committee. Reviewers consider:
    • Relevance to the water industry
    • 
Academic performance/progress
    • Clarity and quality of personal statement
    • Strength of recommendation
    • Professionalism and completeness
