Calling All Utilities: Enter the 2025 "Best of the Best" Water Taste Test!

Think your water is the best in Ohio? Prove it! The Ohio Section AWWA invites utilities to submit entries for the 2025 Water Taste Test, taking place on Tuesday, August 12 in the Exhibit Hall at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland during the One Water Conference.
The winning system will earn bragging rights as the “Best of the Best” in Ohio—and become eligible to represent the Section at the national AWWA Taste Test in Washington, D.C. in 2026!
How to Enter:
  • Submit the online entry form by August 8.
  • Bring two 1-liter samples to the Exhibit Hall between 10:00 AM and 12:00 noon on August 12.
  • Samples must be collected within 48 hours of submission and stored at 40–70°F.
Eligibility: AWWA membership is required. Utilities must have no state or federal drinking water violations in 2025.
Judging will be anonymous and based on appearance, flavor, and odor. The winner will be announced around 5:00 PM in the Exhibit Hall.
